We've been in Canada for a week already!

...and Mum still hasn't posted anything..AGAIN! This blogging stuff must be hard...or Mum is real lazy. We arrived in Ormocto New Brunswick Sunday July 18th and visited for 2 days with some friends Mum says she hasn't seen for a real long time, Sheila & Bob. We had a great visit, they had a big yard to run in and squirrels AND we saw our first bunny rabbit!
And then just like that we were off...AGAIN! Drove another 6 hours and ended up in Bridgetown Nova Scotia http://www.town.bridgetown.ns.ca/site/index.php wow...a poplulation of 972 people...i think that's a lot smaller than San Francisco. Mum used to live here in High School for a few years, not in the big city of Bridgetown but a few miles away in an even smaller town called Centrelea...the population there is less than 100. Anyway, Bridgetown is very pretty with the Annapolis River running through it and we have been staying at a campground for a week right on the river. Today we are moving to a cottage on the Bay of Fundy http://leisureleebythebay.com and we are all looking for something less "rustic" that where we have been staying. I mean...Gracie & I are dogs...and well...this is a stretch even for us !

Then tomorrow our favorite Uncle is coming! Andy is flying in from Newfoundland for the big family reunion on Saturday. YEAH, we love Uncle Andy, and he is coming back with us on the ferry...which Mum is very excited about...so now she has a driving companion for a couple days!
And Mum is getting ready to take us for our morning walk...so off we go! Happy Monday everyone!

...Day 2...heading to New Mexico!

We left early in the morning...still waiting to get to the park. We didn't drive as long today...but it was still a  lot of time in the car, despite a couple times mum let us out to take care of some business. Then we got to this place called Santa Fe. YEAH! We got to get out and go for a walk...our legs need some stretching! Why is it SOOOOO hot! We walked around and its a very nice town...but I guess they don't like people cuz Mum was getting frustrated she couldn't go anywhere...not sure what that was all about...must be tough to be human. So after a couple hours we left to spend the night in Albuquerque...which i guess was meant to be cuz the car wasn't working so good...it keep shaking. So we found a place to stay for the night. Mum took us for a short walk and playing catch with us then we all went to bed. In the morning we had to call a tow truck driver and send it off to an auto shop. We were pretty lucky...we only had to wait a couple hours until we got it back! Back on the road....come on park!

...And back to the begining...

It was a nice SF summer morning, you know..all that grey sky,  when Mum started hauling stuff down to the car as we watched from the top of the stairs. We were a little nervous, she was leaving us...we knew it! She leaves us pretty much everyday! We don't like that, but with this much stuff...she must be leaving for a while!  But then she took our dog beds...SWEEEEET! We were going! We must be going to the park for quite a while!
We drove for almost 2 hours before we stopped...WOW...this must be a new park. We got out...and it was twice as hot as home! And no park! It was some gas station. We got to go do some private stuff and then bought some fruit at the fruit stand...and back in the car! Gracie & I agreed that this sucked! All day in the car...this better be one good park! We finally stopped about 8pm and had a sleep in Flagstaff AZ. Again, this was not a park! A little motel...but Mum did throw the ball for us for a while and took us so a very short walk....even at night it was so hot! We must be a very long way from home!
Lets hope that the park is AMAZING when we get to it!

Oh Oh, Mum's in trouble...

...she hasn't posted anything from us since we left Cali, and don't blame us...we've been telling her what to write....it's not our fault! If we had opposible thumbs we would be all over it...cuz we have A LOT of down time sleeping in the back seat.
Right now Carter & I are chilling on this pretty comfy king sized bed...it's almost big enough for us until Mum gets in it...and we have to smush up against her...but somehow we manage to share it with her. So, since Mum dropped the ball we are gonna have to work backwards a bit. We are currently in Chesapeake, Virginia at this cool, people friendly hotel, Aloft. We've been here since Saturday night...cuz our car broke down...and we had to get towed in and wait until a car place opened Monday, thats today. The cool thing was we got to ride in the car while it go towed in...we'll we though it was cool...but Mum was pretty pissed off at the tow truck driver. She wanted to put us in our  travel bag and bring us upfront, but he said no dogs riding in my truck. She said a couple words that seemed like she wasn't to happy about that answer. But we made it fine anyway and i don't like the bag anyway...so who cares.
So another tow truck came today and picked up the car and took it to some Audi people that we hope are going to fix it so we can get back on the road! Secretly we both like being here cuz we get to go for more walks and play ball in the outside lounge and the staff really like us. We even get to hang out in the bar...pretty cool. But we keep hearing about how much we still have to see...so i guess we should keep this trip going
